The Children's Nutcracker and Live
Dancing Advent Wreath performed
annually at JSU Stone
Performing Arts Center
"What an amazing show! Of course I was partial to one little tap-dancing mouse in particular (☺) but ALL the girls were wonderful. So thankful Ms Colleen loves our girls and takes the time to share her talents with them and train them in such a beautiful dance. Already excited for Lion King in Summer 2016! "
Tina Owens Trussell
"Our words cannot express how amazed and owed we were with the Nutcracker performance this year especially the Advent Wreath. Absolutly breath taking. We are amazed at how far the girls have come this season, and we realize how much work was behind the finished product! Thank you for keeping Christ the center of the Company's Christmas. It moved me more than words can express. Seeing my daughter dance for God's Glory is our heart's desire and we have ACDT to thank for pointing her in that direction."

The ACDT is a leveled intensive ballet program. The Intensive Ballet Program is a program of study designed to take students of classical ballet from a foundation level of technique, artistry, and etiquette to a pre-professional level, leading to a career in dance. Students of the ACDT program participate in the Invitational through Senior performance ensembles. These ensembles give students the possibility of honoring their performance skills in work appropriate for their age and technical skills by preparing for "The Children's Nutcracker," International Dance Acclaim, Disney World Performing Arts Dance Programs, and a final end of year performance such as Peter Pan. These students also perform throughout the year in special events and outreach performances including nursing homes and churches.
