The ACDT is a leveled intensive ballet program. The Intensive Ballet Program is a program of study designed to take students of classical ballet from a foundation level of technique, artistry, and etiquette to a pre-professional level, leading to a career in dance. Students of the ACDT program participate in the Invitational through Senior performance ensembles. These ensembles give students the possibility of honoring their performance skills in work appropriate for their age and technical skills by preparing for "The Children's Nutcracker," International Dance Acclaim, Disney World Performing Arts Dance Programs, and a final end of year performance such as Peter Pan. These students also perform throughout the year in special events and outreach performances.
